How Simmons move-in day works
Select an arrival time
Students receive a move-in email containing the arrival-time registration link. Register using the student’s Simmons email, full name, residence building and room number.
Bring only one vehicle
Simmons permits each resident to bring one vehicle to unload during the scheduled move-in period because parking space is limited.
Arrive at the assigned time
The process includes a short arrival window, a limited unloading period and time for the vehicle to leave the residence-campus parking area.
Move the vehicle immediately
The driver should move the vehicle away from the unloading area as directed while the student continues checking in and organizing the room.
Parking and unloading
Simmons uses a tightly scheduled unloading system
One vehicle per resident
Do not bring multiple vehicles to the residence campus. Pack efficiently and place the most important room supplies where they can be unloaded first.
Do not arrive early
Students who arrive before their selected time may be asked to leave and return later. Build extra time into the trip without entering the campus loading area too soon.
